Thiururi - Kenya

Thiururi - Kenya

Lemonheads, Raspberry Tea, Black Currant

Co-op: Komothai

Variety: SL-28, SL-34

Elevation: 1600-1800 MASL

Process: Washed. The cherries are sorted before being pulped. The parchment is then fermented overnight, before being washed and graded. After that, it is dried on the drying tables for 8-14 days. In contrary to most other FCS, Komothai does not soak the parchment after washing.

Magic: Fruit punch, friendos. This current crop Kenyan from the Thiururi washing station is what is up. It’s super sweet start to finish, has a mellow cranberry-like acidity, and is squeaky clean. This coffee is high-key my favorite of the season so far. It's good. Like. Close your eyes and you might not guess that it's coffee at all, good.
