Magic: Lizardo Herrera, AKA the Lizard King, AKA the beekeeper is back. This is our second offering from his farm, and the solidification of a relationship that we plan on keeping for as long as he’ll have us. Last year’s harvest was absolutely bonkers and our favorite coffee of the year by a large margin. This year’s is equally promising. First tastes are screaming cherry jolly ranchers, hella florality, and sparkling clarity that’s reminiscent of a washed Guji. Like. If we put this on a blind cupping table alongside an assortment of Ethiopian coffees, we would not be able to pick it out. It’s awesome.

Lizardo is the man. He puts in work, and it shows. We’re super grateful for producers like him that are constantly pushing the flavor boundaries of coffee, and so thankful for the opportunity to share it with you. If you’re looking for the way forward, follow us…we’ll be following the Lizard King.
